Party Time!

Yep that's right! I'm joining the party! The ULTIMATE BLOG PARTY that is! This is my first blog party! The ladies over at 5 Minutes for Mom are hosting it and it looks like great fun! Basically it's just a way to find new bloggers and make new friends! I'm excited!

So for the newbies:

I started When You Wish Upon A Star to document my journey into becoming a better photographer. It started off just as a way to share my photos and improving (hopefully!) talent. As I got more involved in it, I found a whole community of bloggers who are photographers too! And to top it off they have busy lives, being moms, just like me! I felt I found a place to belong.

In finding these other women, I've also found photo challenges. My new obsession! I participate in at least one a week, but I do want to do more! They are a fun way to challenge my skills and learn new things! I absolutely love it! And I love the inspiration that seeing other photos provides.

I also throw in random rambling bloggy type things too. What would a blog be without a little rambling now and then?
